Nino Jonas’s photographic oeuvre center’s on exploring the complex interrelationship between individuals and their environments as well as subjective and collective memory.

Between realism and poetry, offering a narrative approach that is evocative and suggestive, rather than merely descriptive, his photographic projects invite us to discover the influence that our environments have on us and how they shape our identities, experiences and memories.

Nino Jonas works in the traditional film medium for photographic capture and in the digital realm for printing as well as audiovisual arts.

His work can be seen in various exhibitions by the Austrian chamber of photography throughout lower Austria.

A permanent exhibition can be visited in the Atelier 17 Gallery and Studio graphic in Carnac France, where he lives and works currently.
